Navigating Alzheimer’s care: Expert guidance for Utah families

KUTV — Alzheimer’s disease hits incredibly close to home for so many of us here in Utah.

Right now, there are an estimated 38,000 Utahns aged 65 and older living with Alzheimer’s, and more than 118,000 local family members are providing unpaid, exhausting care every single day.

Mandy Hampton and Raven Storm joined Fresh Living to share about The Ridge Senior Living and their upcoming seminar. Watch the full interview here.

If you are currently navigating this with a parent or a spouse, you know how hard it is to tell the difference between normal aging and something more serious. And, more importantly, it is hard to know when it’s time to transition them into a dedicated care community.

To help guide families through these massive decisions, a vital seminar called The Caregiver’s Compass is taking place on June 3 at The Ridge Cottonwood. It is a day of education, encouragement and meaningful support for families and professionals caring for those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Click here to RSVP.
